OrthoNet™ is a fuzzy database based on a neural network
classification contained in a neuromorphic chip.
The purpose of the database is to allow the orthodontist to search
for similar patients in terms of orthodontic landmark placement.
The search allows you to use different vector distance metrics and
to partially focus the search on groups of landmarks.
Database searches of up to thousands of patients can be performed
in parallel at the edge on a daisy chain of processing elements contained in
neural chips.
This application was made for Prof. Franco Bruno in 2004.
